UPCOMING EVENTS:

• Sidewalk Sale.  July 19-26.   A mountain of bargains will be found during this huge event.  Many of our crafters participate by putting on sale ‘last years crafts’ and craft supplies no longer needed.  What better time than this to get some new craft supplies for yourself?  The entire Lake Edge Shopping Center participates in this event.

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS:

• Painting - Workshops in glass/canvas/windows.  May, 2012
• Jewelry Design - Beaded & Button Bracelet, Crochet & Bead Necklace  May, 2012
• Craft a Fairy House using natural materials – $15  Saturday, May  12th
• Soy Candle Making – Learn the benefits of soy in candles & make some to take home
• Papercraft Workshop – New card ideas and other ways to use your paper supplies
• Learn to Knit.  Monday evenings 6-8pm.  Instructor, Sandra Otterson, teaches both right and left handers in knitting techniques of all levels and ages.  Fee for 1 visit is $10.  A discount up to 50% is available for those wishing to purchase more than 1 lesson.  There is no cost for those wishing to bring their knitting and come visit – the more the merrier!  We have no session on evenings that the Madison Knitting Guild meets so if you are new, call 442-7467 to confirm your attendance.   Christmas Break – inquire instore for startup date.
• Candle Making with Elinor.  Sessions available on request Mondays, Tuesdays or Friday evenings or Saturday or Sunday afternoons.   Have fun and learn a new craft!  Make unique holiday presents.  Elinor Gbedey will teach you how to make soy wax candles and guide you as you create several to adorn your home or give as presents.  You may bring your own container(s) to make them really special.  Contact Elinor at 608-219-6969 or by email egbedey@hotmail.com to schedule class time.  Individuals or groups welcome including children.  Fee starts at $10.
